If you are looking for a  four star cottage in a peaceful location which is also within walking distance of restaurants, shops and pubs then Glenfuran is for you.

The cottage is situated in a rural location within a small valley on the outskirts of Tobermory town. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the golf course from where there are spectacular views of Tobermory bay and the Sound of Mull. Picturesque Tobermory harbour  front with its famous coloured houses is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage.

 

Glenfuran is one of a group of three cottages accessed by a short private road. The owners' parents live in the adjacent cottage, Winterley and are on hand to provide assistance if necessary.

The spacious cottage is designed to accommodate in comfort a maximum of five people plus one infant. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom with 2 two single beds and a single bedroom. A full size cot and high chair are available on request.

The relaxing lounge, measuring approximately 5.4m by 3.8m (17' 9" by  12' 6"), has two three-seater settees. The large kitchen-diner, measuring approximately 4.3m by 5.7m (14' 1" by 18' 8"), contains a dining table with 6 chairs and a breakfast bar with two stools.

Outside there is an oak bench and a patio table and chair set. These are situated in different parts of the garden to enable you to take advantage of both the morning and afternoon sun!

Smoking and Pets

The cottage is non smoking throughout for the benefit of all our guests. We regret that we cannot accommodate any pets in the cottage.

Disabled facilities

The accommodation within the cottage is laid out on a single level with a shallow concrete ramp leading from the drive up to the back door. There is only a small step to negotiate in order to enter the shower cubicle. Tobermory is built on the side of a hill and the route back to the cottage from the harbour front is steep in places. However, there is a car park immediately adjacent to the harbour should guests wish to drive into the town. The main street along the harbour front is flat.
